When going through various stages of a relationship, there comes a point in time that breeds boredom. During this time most common things like movie nights and dinner dates have already been done over and over again. At this turning point, other alternatives need to be introduced. Here a few ideas to spark the fun side of the relationship once again.

1. Consider going on a road trip to a favorite national park or a concert. Road tripping can be a great way to spend time with your partner, while sharing a common goal or destination. This will breed mutual excitement and fun.

2. Another idea that can really add some zest and romance to a tired relationship are dinner cruises . These cruises feature excellent food and a romantic atmosphere unrivaled by most other attractions.

3. Think about taking a weekend getaway vacation or if funds are tight consider a one night stay in a luxurious hotel with a spa. There is nothing like a relaxing night away from everything to remove the daily stress from your relationship.

 Whatever your situation may be, don't sweat the small stuff.  Enjoy one another's company and relish in the good times.

My family and I are planning on going to the “lake” for the weekend. We're hoping for some nice sunny weather, so we start prepping our new boat and open up our lake house. We currently recently bought some property on Smith Mountain Lake . It's a great view on one of Virginia's nice lakes. The total area of Smith Mountain Lake is massive.

We really enjoy the boating and fishing on the lake. Actually, we've been going to the lake for years and it's grown a place in our heart as the perfect place for weekend getaways with the family. My in-laws are planning on staying in our lake house for an extended stay during the summer. It's pretty much the family vacation destination and no one has any problems with it, so far. The boys really enjoy being towed behind our boat in their tubes and rafts.

As far as the nights on the lake, nothing beats a relaxing fire and roasted marshmallows. Investing in Smith Mountain Lake real estate was by far one of the best decision that my husband and I have every made.
